Hey everyone! So, to update everyone, we arrived in Brookings, OR on the 19th. We played at the Pine Cone on Tuesday night and they asked us to come back on Thursday and Saturday. Tuesday after we played we walked over to the bar right next to the Pine Cone and jammed with the local musicians, everyone was so amazing. They asked us to come back and jam with them on Wednesday and Sunday. So Wednesday we jammed again and Thursday we played at the Cone again and also went to the local's softball game. It was so much fun! Props to Candy and Spam (Edward), both who played very well and so did their teams. Friday we went to Gold Beach and jammed a little with our friend Kenny (he ended up playing lead guitar when we played at the Pine Cone), it was so awesome. Saturday we played and hung out with the brilliant locals again. Sunday we went to another jam session at the Fox's Den, Kenny and Jay (he played the drums for us). Thanks to Chris, who is another amazing musician. After we went and hung out with our friends Candy and Don and played some hacky sack and football. Monday we started recording another CD at Kenny's. That brings us to today. We are going to be heading north again in a bit, so we probably won't have internet for a while, but our phones might work. Thank you so much to Alexis and John who put us up for the week. You guys rock! Brookings is amazing, and the people are even better. We will be back for certain. Love to everyone. See you again soon Brookings!

So after we left Monte Rio we watched the moon set by the beach and I realized that I left my phone in Monte Rio. So we headed back on the 101, which was way quicker than taking the 1 all the way back, thank goodness. We stayed there over night and left for the Avenue of the Giants (with the huge redwood trees). We parked Truck and started to reorganize so we would have more room for Maddy to use her litter box, we thought that we could just stay there off the side of the road for the night, so we drank a few brewskies. Right when we were about to go to sleep a park ranger pulls up and tells us that we had to move and couldn't stay in this area at all, we'd have to go to a campground and pay them so we could sleep. I told him that it was crazy that we should have to pay for camping and we had also been drinking. He said he didn't care and that we'd have to be gone by the time he got back. So luckily we were only about five miles to the nearest town, which happened to be Meyers Point or something (sorry, can't remember or find the name anywhere right now). So we parked in front of the first building that we saw that had people still in it (of course it was a bar). The owner of the bar ended up helping us out so much and fed us dinner and everything. Shout out to Bill!!!! We stayed in the town a couple of nights going to the Ave of the Giants durning the day (as to not be yelled at again) lol. Anyway, we met so many very nice people there and had a great time in the forest. Now we are in Eureka and thinking about heading up North about seven miles tomorrow. I will post some pic after I go out to Truck and grab the camera (we are in the library right now). We will probably be playing at Old Town Coffee and Chocolates tonight so wish us luck. I think that is all for now, miss you guys and we will try and stay in touch when we can. Now we have not so much internet but we do mostly have phone service-unless our phones die. lol. Much love.

Alright, so here is the new scoop. From San Fran we headed over the Golden Gate bridge into Olema where we camped for a few days and had a show at the bar near there called the Old Western Saloon on Friday. It was so much fun and we met so many cool people. Thanks Cathy for all the props (she was the bartender that got us the gig there)! On Saturday we headed to Bolinas because we heard that they were having a giant tug of war between to rival cities. We wouldn't have been able to find it on our own because they take down the signs to get there and there is only one turn off. The tug of war was huge!!! We have some pics that I am going to post as soon as I'm done with the blog, they are so worth checking out. After the tug of war they had a small parade, but it was so amazing, and of course we met more cool crazy people there. We chilled there for the day, and hung out at the infamous Smiley's bar after. On Sunday we headed back to Smiley's for the second show of our adventure, it was so much fun. We want to give a shout out to the owner of the bar for helping us out, thanks Don! From there we headed up the coast and stopped at Goat Rock Beach (we have pics of that too). We met Chris there and he took us to the Russion River and believe it or not Naddy and I totally went in, it was so awesome and clensing. Thanks Chris!!!!! So that is where we are at right now Monte Rio, which for those of you that don't know spanish it means Mountain River. Totally sweet here and Maddy is loving playing outside. We haven't had service on our phones pretty much the whole time we have been on the coast, so if you want to get a hold of us try email or myspace. Okay, that about sums everything up, now I'm going to post some pics. Miss everyone from the great Salt Lake City, and it was so nice to meet all you new peeps and please keep in touch.

The show at Aces and Eights was awesome. There were so many great and talented people there. We are going to play at King Tut's on Wednesday, can't wait for that. Jealous and negative people will always be around, so just learn to deal with it. We are loving life so much (Maddy is a little hot) and can't wait for the next adventure. Just love.
